Wednesday, April 4th, Ketchum student council held districts in our school. With the help of Blue Star Mothers, Grand Lake Mental Health, and Oklahoma's 2022 Teacher of the Year, Traci Manuel, our students as well as students in our OASC District learned how to navigate leadership in their council.
Our student council worked tirelessly to decorate our school and even host their own breakouts. The event was almost fully student lead. Breakouts included, games to better teamwork, vaping prevention, as well as, how to give back to our community.
Ten different student councils from other schools came to our districts. Adair, Afton, Caney Valley, Pryor, Vinita, Kansas, Choteau, Fairland, and Miami all joined in the festivities. Thank you to all that came!
We are extremely proud of our Student Council for hosting this event, and grateful for the organizations and people who came to speak to our students.
