First ever logs

Ketchum Aviation Students were able to take Discovery Flights thanks to a grant from Ketchum Academic Foundation and the Tulsa Flight Training company.

Certified Flight Instructors from the company brought two airplanes on Monday and returned with three planes on Wednesday. Tulsa Flight Training is owned by Pierce Warren.

The discovery flights were much more than a joy ride.  In addition to the actual flights the CFIs coached the students on how to perform pre-flight operations as well as basics of navigation.  Once in the air, the CFIs tested the students' knowledge of flight by allowing them to maneuver and control the aircraft
