Ketchum Middle School

This week, in Mrs.Mcqueen’s class, they are studying osmosis and diffusion by experimenting with potatoes and carrots. Students are saturating the carrots and potatoes in sugar water, salt water, and plain water. They then compared the beginning and ending masses to determine if osmosis or diffusion occurred.
